1. How do I become an LVN in 2 months or less?

If you are a CNA and have at least 51 months of paid bedside nursing experience, you can qualify for the NCLEX-PN through Method 3 or commonly known as the "equivalency method" after completion of at least 54 hours of Pharmacology course. (This is for CA residents only. Please check with your state board if they have similar program)

We offer Pharmacology course that meets the course content requirement set by BVNPT.

OPTION 1: On-line course only

Course fee: $450.00 (book included)

Payment Plan

Initial payment: $250 - your username and password will be issued to you within 24 hrs

after we have received your registration form and payment

Final payment: $200 - due upon completion of the course when you request us to send

your records to the Board

You can register by downloading the application form and send it together with your payment (we only accept cashier's check) or register on-line and pay with your credit/debit card.

OPTION 2: Live Class

This is a four day once a week live class combined with on-line course. On site class size is limited to 8 students.

Course Fee: $550.00 (book included)

Payment:

Initial payment: $250 - Due upon registration for the class.

(must be received at least 2 weeks prior to first day of the class). Call or

Final payment: $300 - Due before the third day of the class

2. I don't have any or enough experience as a CNA. Is there any other way?

If you don't qualify under method 3 ("equivalency method"), Your options would be method 1 and method 2.

Method 1 (graduate of a California accredited school of practical/ vocational nursing)

SMHLC does not offer a Vocational Nursing (VN) program.

Method 2 (graduate of an out-of-state school of practical/ vocational nursing)
