1. NURSE REFRESHER COURSE 
 
The nurse refresher course is designed to help nursing professionals absent from clinical care to update their skills and knowledge allowing them to return to clinical practice safely and with confidence.
 
The course is broken down in several parts to allow students to enroll only in subject areas where they believe they need help. Each participant will complete a learning evaluation for every course topic and must achieve a passing score of 75% inorder for a credit contact hours to be awarded.
 
Upon completion of this refresher program, the participant will be better prepared to function as a professional nurse in the current acute medical-surgical inpatient setting. 
 
Review in Anatomy and Physiology (32 contact hours)
            - Review of the Anatomy and Physiological process of the different body systems. Recall and good understanding of physiology is the main foundation in understanding disease processes and thereby making it a vital part in formulating a comprehensive nursing care plan.
 
Medical-Surgical Nursing (32 hours)
            - In-depth review of the following topics will be included: Gas Exchange & Respiratory Function, Cardiovascular, Circulatory, Hematologic Function, Gastrointestinal, Metabolic, Endocrine Function, Renal, Urinary, Reproductive Function, Immunologic Function, Infection Control, Universal Precautions, Perioperative Concepts, Sensorineural, Integumentary Function, Burn Issues. Musculoskeletal, and Neurologic Function.

Pharmacology course (54 hours)
            - Computation and Preparation of medications
            - Principles of administration of medications
            - Commonly used drugs and their actions
