You will be meeting with the instructor on a predetermined date and time just like a regular class but at the convenience of your home using your computer or smart phone. The instructor will discuss the topics and lecture slides that will be viewed on your computer/phone. You will have the ability to ask questions/interact with the instructor similar to a traditional classroom setting.

54 Hours Pharmacology Course


This course meets the Pharmacology course requirement under method 3 of eligibility to sit for NCLEX-PN in the state of CA 

Target Audience:

1. VN/RN students who are required to complete 54 hours of Pharmacology course to take the NCLEX-PN based on the equivalency method

​2. Foreign RN graduates who are required to take a Pharmacology course to be eligible for NCLEX PN in the state of CA

​3. CNA/MA/EMT who meet the experience requirement set by CA BVNPT under method 3/5


Method 3/5 requires the equivalent of completion of 51 months of paid bedside nursing experience in an acute care facility, verification of skill competency, and 54-theory hours of pharmacology.

The only requirement that we need from students who sign up for our class is for them to understand that this course is mainly used to meet the requirements for the equivalency method. It does not confer any degree. The experience/education requirement will be your responsibility. Whether you meet the experience or are still working on your experience does not affect your ability in taking the course.
